What data is collected
This site collects data through the following means:
- Contact form: When you submit the contact form on the About page, we collect your name, phone number, and email address. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
- Server logs: Our hosting provider records standard server log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and technical maintenance purposes.
- Cookies: We use a limited number of functional cookies necessary for the site to operate correctly. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. A cookie preference banner is shown on first visit.
Legal basis for processing
Data from the contact form is processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where applicable, for the purposes of responding to a pre-contractual request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Server log data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are retained for 30 days. After these periods, data is permanently deleted.
Third parties
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with hosting providers acting as data processors under a data processing agreement. Images embedded on this site are served from Wikimedia Commons servers (Wikimedia Foundation, USA) and are subject to Wikimedia's own privacy policy.
